Dutch Teams Selected for 2022 European Junior/Young Riders Championships

The Dutch equestrian federation (KNHS) has announced the teams that will represent The Netherlands at the 2022 European Junior / Young Riders Championships in Hartpury, Great Britain, on 25 - 31 July 2022. 

Dutch team trainer, 4* judge Monique Peutz, selected for the junior team the four highest ranked riders of the 2022 Dutch Junior Championships. For the young riders' team, Peutz is forced to leave home her number one, 2021 European Young Rider Champion Marten Luiten, who is recovering from a broken collar bone and will aim for the 2022 European Under 25 Championships at the end of August. 

The Dutch teams include

Junior Riders

  • Jill Bogers - Lennox U.S. (by Grand Galaxy Win)
  • Micky Schelstraete - Knight Rider (by Uphill)
  • Rowena Weggelaar  - Don Quichot (by United)
  • Lara van Nek - Fariska (by Vivaldi)

The reserve is Sanne van der Pols on Cuvanck PP (by Downtown).

Young Riders

  • Shanna Baars - Farzana G (by Ampère)
  • Brandy Bos  - Florett W (by Jazz)
  • Robin Heiden  -  Gasmonkey (by Tuschinski)
  • Jo-Anne Koch -  Darabel (by Westpoint)

The reserve is Tom Verhoeven on Honey d’Or (by Chippendale)
