Zoe Hachmeier has withdrawn from competing on the German team at the 2022 European Children Championships in Pilisjaszfalu, Hungary on 24 - 28 August 2022.
Hachmeier was scheduled to make her team debut with the 11-year old Hanoverian gelding Sir Piccolino (by Sir Donnerhall x Princeton).
This has opened up a space for the first reserve, Lotta Plaas on the 20-year old Trakehner Balsamico (by Hertug x Anduc), to move on the team and represent her country for a second time at the Europeans. In 2021 Plaas and Balsamico won team gold and placed 8th at the 2021 European Children Championships in Oliva Nova, Spain.
Plaas has already arrived in Hungary and done her first training with the team.
