If you do it twice, it becomes a tradition as they say, which is why the third sport horse auction by Sportpferde Scholz will be celebrated on Saturday, 22 October 2022 at 6 p.m in Sassenberg, Germany.
The motto of Auction No.3 has clearly become tradition as well: “Horses Ready to compete”.
Furthermore, another aspect has become priority in this year's auction. Alongside 14 sport horses from youngsters to established Prix St. Georges winners, a foal will be auctioned off in favour of "Aktion Lichtblicke e.V." The colt by Galaxy out of a Dimaggio dam line called “Glückskeks” is supposed to not only delight its new owners, but also quite literally be a symbol for good fortune.
Foal Auctioned for Charity: Helping Children
The profit generated by the auction of “Glückskeks” will be donated to the association “Aktion Lichtblicke e.V.“, which take care of the smallest ones in our society, children in Nordrhein-Westfalen, whose families are facing severe challenges. Regardless the reasons, twists of fate can come from all different kinds of places and can strain a family immensely. Especially the kids are suffering the consequences when a family unit is in distress. This is why “Aktion Lichtblicke e.V.” wants to make a difference.
“We hope that our “Glückskeks” by breeder “Zuchtgemeinschaft Reth” can truly contribute in helping families hit by severe strokes of fate across Nordrhein-Westfalen. Children are massively influenced by situations like these and cannot do anything to change them. This is why the support of this organization is very important to us”, says Fabian Scholz, father of a little daughter. This third auction by Sportpferde Scholz takes place on Saturday, 22.October 2022, starting at 6 p.m. at Reitanlage Messerschmidt-Hahn, Milter Str. 2a, 48336 Sassenberg.
