Bettina de Rham will be leaving the FEI as the Director of the Dressage, Para Dressage & Vaulting Department at the end of the year.
The introducing text to the agenda of the FEI Hybrid General Assembly 2022 published 14 October 2022 disclosed this news.
Bettina de Rham began working at the FEI in June 2008 and first assisted in logistical coordination for the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games. She then headed the Vaulting and Reining disciplines before taking up the position of FEI Dressage Director on 1 October 2016.
She succeeded Carina Mayer, who had taken over from FEI Dressage Director Trond Asmyr, who left the FEI in August 2015 due to illness.
The 51-year old De Rham is of Swiss and Dutch origins. She is an amateur Dressage and Eventing competitor and an event organiser at national level.
De Rham worked as Director of the Dressage, Para Dressage & Vaulting Department for six years.
"She will be leaving at the end of the year to explore new horizons and to whom we wish all the very best and thank for her many years of service," the FEI stated.
