Isabell Werth has made her show debut on yet another horse she found for her clients at Andreas Helgstrand's sales stable in Denmark: Skovens Tzarina. The mare sold to Werth's student Victoria Max-Theurer in 2020.

The 8-year old Skovens Tzarina by Zack out of Tazorba (by Don Schufro x Zorro Z). She is bred by Kirsten Bjerregaard Hansen and Jens Lund Pedersen.

Danish Mare Champion

Danish horse dealer and Olympian Andreas Helgstrand purchased the mare as a foal at the 2014 Danish Warmblood elite auction. Tzarina is out of the same dam as the licensed stallion Skovens Raphael.

In 2017 the dark bay mare was named Danish Warmblood Elite Mare Champion after a successful mare test.

Tzarina is the 2017 DWB Elite Mare Champion
She was first competed by Mette Sejbjerg Jensen in 2018 at three shows including the Danish Young Horse Championships, where they were 15th

Helgstrand sold an ownership share in the mare to his loyal investor, Bolette Wandt of Chateau de Fontaine, and in 2019  rider Betina Jaeger piloted Tzarina at the 2019 World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo to a fifth place in the consolation finals for 5-year olds. At the 2019 Danish Young Horse Championships they were 18th. It was the mare's last show in Denmark.

Shopping in Denmark

In the summer of 2020 Isabell Werth took her students Lisa Müller and Victoria Max-Theurer shopping in Denmark. Müller bought D'Avie and Max-Theurer acquired Skovens Tzarina. Werth picked up the KWPN gelding Joshua (by Sezuan x Voice) for herself and shares ownership with long-time sponsor Madeleine Winter-Schulze

Madeleine Winter-Schulze acquired a further two stallions at Helgstrand for Isabell to ride: Majestic Taongo and So Unique (by Sezuan x Donnerhall)
