Spanish Olympian Severo Jurado Lopez has showcased a second Grand Prix horse alongside Dahoud for competing, Furstenglory.
Furstenglory is an 11-year old Oldenburg by Furstenball out of Roxana (by Rohdiamant x Glorieux x Grunstein). He is bred by Heinrich Gerriets.
The dark bay was licensed at the 2013 Oldenburg Stallion Licensing in Vechta, but never did his performance test. Instead he was focused on sport.
Jennifer Hoffmann
American Grand Prix rider Jennifer Hoffmann bought Furstenglory at the Licensing in Vechta for 55,000 euro.
She first competed the stallion in Germany as a 3-year old in June 2014.
Sold to Sweden
Hoffmann sold Fürstenglory to Swedish horse investor Patrik Hannell in 2017. He was competed a few times by Hannell's head rider, Marina Mattsson, at nationals shows that year, including Falsterbo.
A few years ago he moved into the barn of Swedish Olympian Juliette Ramel, who is based at her own yard Ivy Farm in Guttecoven, The Netherlands.
She trained the horse at home for a while.
Severo Jurado Lopez
Fürstenglory re-appeared in public this year in Denmark. The horse, nicknamed Freddy, has been put in training with Severo Jurado Lopez.
Last weekend, Jurado and Furstenglory competed in the Jutland Regional Championships at Grand Prix level, finishing fifth in the Grand Prix (67.667%) and winning the Special with 71.536% to become the reserve champion at these Regionals.
