Yvonne Losos de Muniz, an Olympian from the Dominican Republic who is based in Florida and Spain, has welcomed a new Grand Prix horse into her barn. Losos de Muniz sourced Famke PF in Great Britain.

Famke PF is a 13-year old KWPN mare by Houston out of Sanne (by Cabochon x Facet x Purioso).

The Netherlands

As a young horse Famke PF was bred and presented at KWPN breed shows in The Netherlands by her owner, Marije de Lange, at the time, and received the "elite" title from KWPN

Marije also trained and competed her up to Advanced Medium level at regional and national shows in Holland.

Great Britain

In 2018 Famke PF moved to Great Britain having sold to Jo Cooper, Pat and David Webster.

The bay mare was put into training with professional Becky Moody, who made her national show debut on her at Intermediaire II level in March 2020. The pair finished 10th overall at the 2020 British Grand Prix Championships

They made their international show debut in 2021 and competed at two CDI's in Great Britain: Hartpury and Keysoe with scores going from 68.631% to 71.000%. At the 2021 British Grand Prix Championships they were second

Moody competed Famke PF once in 2022 and rode her at CDN Vale View on 14 January 2023 again, posting 71.92% in the Grand Prix.

Wellington

International dressage rider Yvonne Losos de Muniz has now purchased Famke PF as a future hopeful.

"It was really nuts since I wasn't looking for another Grand Prix horse but Carl (Hester), who trains Becky, told me she was thinking of selling the mare and he thought of me, sending me a video out of the blue," Losos de Muniz told Eurodressage. "After talking to him and Becky I was on a plane to Manchester the next day, and bought her on the spot. Becky has done an amazing job and enjoyed tremendous success with Famke, being reserve champion at the 2021 British Dressage Championships and a couple of weeks ago scoring nearly a 72% in their last show together."

Famke's on the way to Florida now, where she will join Aquamarijn, Idwinaretto and Felice as barn mates

"I am beyond excited to start competing her. She's got amazing quality and potential, and it's very nice to have a second horse for the Pan Ams and the Paris Olympics qualification cycle," said Yvonne.
