Swiss Teams Announced for 2023 European Youth Championships

The Swiss Equestrian Federation has announced the riders and teams that will represent Switzerland at the 2023 European Youth Championships in Le Mans, Kronberg and Pilisjaszfalu in July. 

Switzerland will be featuring individual pony riders and one individual children rider and a full junior and young riders team of four. No Under 25 riders were selected. 

Swiss youth team captain Heidi Bemelmans will be at all three Championships, together with team veterinarians Christoph Kühnle or Merit Meier. National team trainer Oliver Oelrich will join in Pilisjászfalu and Kronberg.

Pony Riders

  • Valentine Bineau - Brouwershaven Uthopia II 
  • Mia Sanna Walser - Coolman or Dallas IV 

The European Pony Championships takes place in Le Mans (FRA) on 27 - 30 July 2023. 

Children

  • Malina Schneider - Darjeeling 

Junior Riders

  • Valentina Bona - Dragonheart 
  • Robynne Graf - Domino LI or Seventh Sky
  • Emma Grandits - Quibelle V 
  • Layla Schmid -  Freek d’Arx 

The European Children and Junior Riders Championships takes place in Kronberg (GER) on 20 - 23 July 2023.

Young Riders

  • Tallulah Lynn Nater -  Quando Unico FRH 
  • Meilin Ngovan - Dreamdancer III 
  • Renée Stadler - Roberto III, or Danzador 
  • Noemi Zindel - Fürstenhit or Delphino 

Under 25

  • no riders selected

The European Young Riders/Under 25 Championships takes place in Pilisjaszfalu (HUN) on 11 - 16 July 2023.
