Two weeks after ANCCE announced the PRE horses selected to represent Spain at the 2023 World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo, the Spanish equestrian federation has filled up Spain's remaining slots with CDE or foreign bred horses.
Due to the size of Spanish horse breeding, Spain has five slots per age division, and will fill them first with PRE bred and CDE (Spanish Sport Horse) bred horses. If not all slots are filled, the Spanish equestrian federation (RFHE) can select riders on foreign bred horses to represent Spain in Ermelo.
