The Equestrian Federation of Hong Kong has announced its athlete list for Hong Kong's equestrian team for the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, on 26 - 28 September 2023.
Hong Kong is fielding 11 rider-horse combinations in the three Olympic disciplines, making it the largest equestrian team ever to represent Hong Kong at the Asian Games.
The athletes have received unprecedented support from the Hong Kong Jockey Club's Equestrian Performance Plan and the Hong Kong Sports Institute's Elite training grant. In preparation for the Asian Games, all team members are currently undergoing training in Europe.
Hong Kong equestrian athletes have enjoyed success on the international stage in recent years. Since Aram Gregory, Jacqueline Siu, and Lily Chui-Zilo finished 4th in the Dressage team event at the 2006 Doha Asian Games, Hong Kong riders have consistently performed well at subsequent Asian Games, including Jacqueline Siu winning Hong Kong's first-ever individual equestrian gold medal in dressage at the 2018 Jakarta Asian Games.
The dressage team will include three athletes. They are:
- Jacqueline Siu - Huittharien
- Samantha Chan - Fierro
- Annie Ho - Southern Cross Braemar
