The 5-year olds Dalton de Prepinson and Forte Village and the 6-year olds Feine Deern and Fabajo became the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held during the "Winternationale" CDI Neu-Anspach on 29 July 2023.
The CDI at horse dealer Arnold Winter's Wintermühle kicked off on Thursday 27 July with some national tests, including the BuCha qualifiers. There were no less than four winners in the two divisions.
5-YO: Dalton de Prepinson and Forte Village
Nine combinations competed in the L-level dressage horse test for 5-year olds, which was judged by Tina Viebahn, Sven Rothenberger, and Knut Danzburg.
Two pairs tied in first place on a score of 8.0 which earned them a ticket to the Bundeschampionate in Warendorf. They are Helena Bicker on the French owner Hanoverian gelding Dalton de Prepinson (by Don Juan de Hus x Soliman de Hus), who scored straight 8s for walk, trot, canter, submission and general impression. Luxembourg's Fie Skarsoe also got a trophy aboard Peter Schlüssen's Oldenburg gelding Forte Village (by Feinrich x Johnson). This dark bay received 7.5 for walk, 8 for trot, 8.5 for canter and 8 for submission and general impression.
6-YO: Feine Deern and Fabajo
In the M-level dressage horse test for 6-year olds there were 10 combinations competing and they were assessed by judges Elke Ebert, Tina Viebahn, and Knut Danzberg.
There were again two winners on a score of 8.2. Laura Ihring piloted Nicola Krause's Hanoverian mare Feine Deern (by Franz Ferdinand x Lauries Crusador xx) to the victory after receiving 8 for walk and trot, 8.5 for canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Charlotte Tollhopf rode Sportpferde Galleria's Fabajo (by Furst Belissaro x Wolkentanz) to the same winning score. The Hanoverian gelding got 8 for walk, canter, and submission and 8.5 for trot and general impression.
