Elisabeth is the name of the winner of the 2023 DSP Brandenburg Elite Mare show in Prussendorf. A group of 78 mares was presented of which 35 were dressage bred and 32 show jumping bred, as well as 11 Trakehner mares.
The three-year old Elisabeth (by Escamillo x Quaterback x Cartier) was named the champion. This was the fourth time that breeder and owner Julia Voigtländer from Berlin was able to be at the forefront of this event with one of her mares. After Miss Susi (2019), Quality (2021) and Quty (2022), Elisabeth now won the DSP State Premium Show of the Brandenburg-Anhalt Horse Breeding Association.
The chestnut mare with its impressive appearance was already able to convince in her mare performance test. She descends from the dam line that produced DossePfeil (Jochen Vetters and Maren Frychel) and Santiano R (Sönke Rothenberger).
The reserve champion was the 3-year old Gloria (by Ferrantino x Lord Fantastic x Cadeau/T), bred and owned by the Brandenburg State Stud in Neustadt (Dosse).
The mare Filosofie (by Fidertanz x De Niro x Samba Hit I), bred by Lutz Japp, took bronze.
