The Dutch equestrian federation has announced the team that will represent The Netherlands at the 2023 European Dressage Championships in Riesenbeck, Germany, set to take place on 4 - 10 September 2023.
Team NL already secured its Olympic team ticket by finishing fifth at last year's World Championships in Herning.
Team trainer Alex van Silfhout made his final pick after the 2023 CDI Kronenberg.
"I think we have a strong team with which we will go for the maximum," said Van Silfhout. "Lynne Maas performed very well, just like Emmelie Scholtens. Dinja and Thamar have proven to be reliable. I know Marlies will be ready when she's asked to do the job."
The team includes:
- Dinja van Liere - Hartsuijker
- Thamar Zweistra - Hexagon's Ich Weiss
- Emmelie Scholtens - Indian Rock
- Lynne Maas - Electra
The reserve is Marlies van Baalen with Habibi DVB.
