Global Player OLD, the 2022 World Young Horse Champion and 2023 WCYH silver medal winner, has been sold to a German junior rider. The licensed stallion moved to Bavaria and will continue his sport career under Marie Sohler.

Global Player OLD is a 7-year old Oldenburg stallion by Grand Galaxy Win out of Chatel's Shurana (by Don Schufro x Rawage Quintus). He is bred by Henrik Hansen.

Licensing Champion

Owned by Hansen in partnership with Andreas Helgstrand, the black was presented at the  2018 Oldenburg stallion licensing and named champion

He entered the licensing named Grand Canyon, but after his licensing was renamed Gigabyte, but a few days later they settled for Global Player.  On paper, Paul Schockemöhle joined the owners' group.

He did his 14-day stallion performance test in Denmark in March 2019 and scored 8.05 for dressage and 5,93 for show jumping to finish on an average of 7,35 points. In November 2019 he did the 35-day performance test in Denmark and earned 9,05 points. Global Player is WFFS positive.

Double WCYH Medallist

The stallion was trained by Eva Möller from the start

She first showed him in a riding horse test in Vechta in August 2020 and won silver at the 2020 Bundeschampionate in the 4-year old stallion class.

He then competed at three World Young Horse Championships in a row. In 2021 he was fourth as a 5-year old and in 2022 he won gold as a 6-year old.

Global Player was then allocated to Helgstrand rider Leonie Richter and shortly afterwards Eva Möller's retirement as a competition rider was announced. Under Richter he scored silver at the 2023 World Young Horse Championships as a 7-year old.
