Feline, Top Seller of the 2023 Danish Warmblood Foal Auction in Herning

The chestnut filly Feline became the best selling foal of the 2023 Danish Warmblood foal auction which was held at the World Cup Qualifier in herning on Saturday 21 October 2023. 

Fifteen foals were on offer and 11 sold for an average price of 13,318 euro. Ridehesten reported on the auction.

Feline (by Vitalis x Donnerhall x Pik Bube I) is out Fabina, the full sister of Don Schufro and the 2003 Oldenburg Elite Mare Champion owned by Blue Hors Stud. She also produced the Grand Prix horse Blue Hors Veneziano. This WFFS positive filly sold  to Danish breeder and horse owners Eva Götzsche and Mogens Pedersen of "Straight Horse" for 36,000 euro.

The Naksynski Group, headed by Petra Naksynski Trabjerg, wife of 2022 WC Herning show organizer Jens Trabjerg, bought three foals: the second most expensive ones of the auction, Mazzini (by Monte Carlo x Rocekfeller) and Biraldo (by Be Sure x Zack), both selling for 17,000 euro, as well as Super-G (by So Perfect x For Romance) for 15,000 euro.

Hakuna Matata LBH (by Blue Hors St. Schufro x Hotline) sold to Anders Yde and Nicklas Toelstang for 13,000 euro.

Skovsro's Double Trouble (by Diarado x Balou de Rouet) was the most expensive jumper foal, selling for 13,000 euro. All other foals sold for 9,000 euro or less. 

HJ Morgan (by Total McLaren x Londonderry) sold for 9,000 euro. Fellini Rose (by DeLorean x Florencio) and Feldbak's Zoey (by Baron x Sezuan) both went for 8,000 euro.
