The black Dolce Amaro PS was named champion of the 2023 Mecklenburg Stallion Licensing at the state stud Redefin on 7 - 9 December 2023.

A collection of 53 colts was presented for licensing and 29 were accepted. Ten colts were generously declared premium.

The licensing committee chose Paul Schockemöhle's bred and owned Dolce Amaro PS (by Danciero x San Amour) as the champion of the licensing. A week ago that colt sold for 35,000 euro to Polish Grand Prix rider Mateusz Cichon in the PS Online Colt Auction and he will be standing at stud in Poland. For years in a row Schockemöhle has been supplying stallions to the Mecklenburger licensing and this his umpteenth champion of that licensing.

The reserve champion was the Oldenburg registered colt Vuitton (by Vivaldos x Dancier x Rascalino), bred by Meike Ziegenhirt.

The third ranked premium stallion was a Dynamic Dram x Finest colt, bred by Wieghaus-Vorwerk and presented by René Tebbel.
