The countdown has begun for one of the most anticipated weeks of the winter season in Wellington, Florida: USPRE Week, taking place from January 23-27, 2024.
Once again, the Spanish soul, "arte," and majesty of the PRE horse will take center stage. All PRE lovers and enthusiasts are welcome to join us for this incredible week of seminars, clinics, exhibitions, and educational opportunities. Year after year, this magical week showcases the beauty, quality, versatility, and nobility of these magnificent horses.

The theme for this year's USPRE is "Pure Power: Classic Cars and Classic Horses," and we have special acts planned. It will be the perfect tribute to the Spanish horse and vintage cars.
Program
A Horsepower-Packed Event featuring multiple activities will kick off with a Clinic by US Olympic Rider Juan Manuel Muñoz. He will address the audience at Horses & Hounds Farm with a presentation on selecting and preparing the PRE Horse for international competition on January 23 and 25 2024, coaching different demonstration riders each day.
The opening day will continue with the Member Welcome Reception at Horses & Hounds Farm at 6:30 pm. Join us for a festive Kick-Off of USPRE Week. Meet your fellow members, Board Members, staff, and representatives from Spain.
The schedule continues on Wednesday, January 23, starting at 8:30 am, Javier Ruiz will open the morning explaining the classical warm-up of the trained PRE horse.
One hour later, at 9:30 am, the seminars will continue with Juan Manuel Muñoz giving tips and advice about the development of the Young Horse.
At 10:30 am, USPRE members will have the opportunity to learn more about the prevention, treatment, and risks of laminitis specific to the PRE with Dr. Robert P. Boswell DMV, PA.
Before the lunch break, Judge Sue Kolsted will share her knowledge and explain her perspective on the P.R.E.
After lunch, around 12:30, well-known breeder Ignacio Candau will explain the new guidelines of Morphology rules.
Last but not least, at 1:30, we will end with a seminar on Photography through the eyes of prestigious photographer Rafael Lemos.
On Thursday, the action won’t be less as we will start the day with Juan Manuel Muñoz's second part of his clinic. Moreover, in the afternoon, the agenda will be open to enjoying the Grand Prix competition at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival. Watch the world-class Dressage competition from the comfort of the USPRE Hospitality Event Tent, ringside at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival.

On Friday, January 26, we will start the morning with an educational Round Table about the role of Adult Amateurs in Dressage. A few hours later, at the Global Dressage Showgrounds, join us in the VIP Tent to watch the spectacular Friday Night Freestyles as part of the week's competition.
Each year, USPRE Week congregates in Wellington with the best riders and breeders on American soil, as well as international guests.
