Austrian junior rider team member Fanny Jöbstl has welcomed a new horse into the barn, Danieli VMT.

Danieli VMT is a 10-year old Baden Wurttemberger bred gelding by Diamo Gold out of Darline (by Rubin Royal x De Niro x Sherlock Holmes). He is bred by Eveline Bruggmann.

Licensed Stallion

The bay was licensed at the 2017 DSP Stallion Licensing in Munich but never did his stallion performance test and lost his licensed status.

He has no registered offspring in Germany and has been gelded to be focused on sport.

Owned by Victoria Max-Theurer, the horse was not competed until he turned 7 in 2021. He was shown by Austrian Belinda Weinbauer.

He made his debut at LP4 level in Kottingbrunn in April 2021 and a month later did his first S-level test in Stadl Paura.  Their international debut was at the 2021 CDI Achleiten in the 7-year old class. He did the preliminary test and scored 70.011% to finish third.

Weinbauer competed him through October 2022 after which he returned to Max-Theurer in Achleiten.

Fanny Jöbstl

Austrian Fanny Jöbstl has now taken over the ride on Danieli. She will turn 19 in 2024 and needs to make the transition to young riders' level.

"At the end of last year my brother (Paul Jöbstl) started to work there (at Victoria Max-Theurer's stable) and also rode him there," Fanny told Eurodressage. "So after some time he thought that Danieli would be a good fit for me and I had the chance to try him. He is very well educated horse and is also very safe in the YR-Class. He also shows very good talent for Grand Prix. He fits extremely well to me because he’s a quite a petite horse. His character is very sweet and when you ride him you feel safe and have the feeling that he wants to do his best."

When asked what her short-term plans are, Fanny replied, "he’s not been on competition for a while. But my plan is to get to know him better and to ride the YR tour this year."

Fanny represented Austria at the 2019, 2020, and 2021 European Pony Championships on Dynasty, and won team silver at the 2023 European Junior Riders Championships with Simsalabim OLD
