Seven rather well known young(er) dressage riders have followed the fast-track to become a dressage judge in Germany.

They are: Hannah Erbe, Dr. Annabel Frenzen, Helen Erbe, Jasmin Schaudt, Katrin Burger, Charlott-Maria Schürmann and Hubertus von Zedtwitz.

The German Judges Association (DRV) created the fast-track to convince more riders to become a judge.  In Germany to become a judge a basic test for dressage and jumping at L level is done and then one can gradually climb up the level. If the candidate has  a Golden Riding Badge they can immediately start at M-level.

The Fast Track is for riders who have scored at least 68 percent three times in an international Grand Prix test

German 5* judge Hennig Lehrmann told Kim Kreling that, "hese riders can take the basic test first and then their advanced test two weeks later, but purely dressage-specific. We carried out the first pilot tests of the 'Fast Trackers' in Warendorf over the past two weeks. All seven passed with very good grades. And I would like to emphasize one thing: nothing was given to you! They were examined by a total of ten different examiners in the basic and S exams, in the practical and theoretical part, and were really well prepared."
