"I am happy and proud of the second edition of our stallion show," said Gérald Martinez, general manager of the stud. "It was a success because more than 300 people came for the show and we welcomed friends here suchas François Kasselmann. We are already marking our calendars for the third edition next year on 15 february 2025."
Stallion Roster for 2024 - Fresh Semen Available
Malleret has made some significant changes in its stallion roster for 2024 as the global demand for semen has been the highest ever.
Flagship Grand Prix stallion Danciano (by Dancier x Rotspon x Wolkenstein II) and 2023 Nurnberger Burgpokal finalist Golden Romance Malleret PS (by Governor x Sir Donnerhall) will be standing at stud at Paul Schockemöhle's station in Germany this year.
"We try our best to fulfil all requests of the breeders across Europe and the world. There is a great demand for fresh semen, which made us decide this year to relocate some of our stallions to different stations," Martinez explained. "Danciano and Golden Romance Malleret PS are both at Schockemöhle. After years and years that breeders were asking for fresh semen of Daniciano and he's now available. His frozen semen is also of high quality. Manuel Dominguez will continue the horses' training and competing and he has also added Fantom de Malleret (by Fair Game x Wochstern) to his string. Golden Romance should start at Grand Prix level by the end of 2024."
Younger stallions Faszination de Malleret (by Furst Belissaro x San Remo) and Fänomen de Malleret (by Foundation x Sezuan) have moved into training with Belgian Olympian Larissa Pauluis and are available fresh in Belgium for the European market and frozen through Malleret.
Home Boys
Haras de Malleret will be handling the semen delivery of six "home boys" which are based at Malleret in France and in training with Alfonso de la Chica Parras.
They are Flinstone (by Fidertanz x Abanos), Stolzenberg de Malleret (by Sandro Hit x Lord Sinclair), Esperanzo Malleret PS (by Escamillo x Zack), First Moon de Malleret (by Fürstenball x Diamond Hit), Royal de Malleret (by Rubin Royal x Fürst Wilhelm), and Dicasso de Malleret (by Danciano x Sir Donnerhall).
Directly available through Malleret in fresh and frozen semen are First Moon, Royal, and Dicasso. Offered exclusively fresh are Esperanzo and Stolzenberg, while there is only frozen of Flinstone and Fantom at Mallert.

Looking at the current economy and demand of the breeders, Haras de Malleret has adapted its breeding conditions.

For fresh semen it's 100% when ordering (2 times fresh semen) and get a 50% discount if you need to re-orderafter that in the same breeding year. Paul Schockemöhle handles the studfees for Danciano and Golden Romance," said Martinez.
