Dana became the best selling dressage horse in the 2024 Hanoverian April Auction which was held online and for which the bidding closed on 20 April 2024.
Thirty-six horses sold to German bidders and 26 move abroad.
The price highlight was a jumper, Carla Mia (by Carridam x Perigueux) which sold to China for 55,000 euro.
The best selling dressage horse was Dana (by Da Costa x Royal Blend) which sold to France for 37,500 euro. Also going to France are Empire (by Escamillo x Furst Heinrich) for 31,000 euro, bought by Anthony Astier, Loredana (by Libertad x Florencio) for 27,000 euro, and Frizzantini (by Fantastic x Rousseau) for 17,000 euro.
Americans bought Dry Gin (by D'Egalite x Furstenhof) for 36,500 euro, London Swing (by Livaldon x Weltruhm) for 30,500 euro, Zalando (by Zack x Londonderry) for 23,000 euro, and Morricano Hit (by Morricone x Sandro Hit) for 16,500 euro.
Donna Mia (by Dodo Weihgand x Ampere) goes to Switzerland for 25,000 euro, as well as Ella Est La (by Erdinger x Sixtus) for 17,000 euro. Samoa (by Secret x His Highness) sold to Spain for 25,500 euro.
A Belgian purchased Flo Rida (by Floriscount x Londonderry) for 19,500 euro and Donatella (by Don Martillo x Sandro Hit) will move to Colombia for 17,500 euro. Daisy (by Don Frederico x Royal Diamond) goes to Sweden for 16,000 euro. An Italian paid 13,500 euro for Bonita (by Borsalino x Danone). Lesmona (by Londontime x Floratio) found a new home in Finland for 10,500 euro.
