Professional rider, teacher and a dressage trainer Minna Uronen has made the move into independence and set up her own business at Heidi Taipale's newly built Finnish dressage stable Wesunda Dressage.

Minna Uronen
The 33-year old Uronen is maybe best known as a young horse rider and right hand of Finnish Grand Prix rider Terhi Stegars.
She began working for Stegars in 2010 after finishing high school and her basic level equestrian studies in
Finland. Uronen decided to go all-in to become a professional rider and moved to Luxemburg, where she started working at the Kayser family's A bis Grand Prix stables under Stegars.
In the next 8 years she worked as a rider, trainer and stable manager and completed the German professional rider (Bereiter) qualification. She also committed to a further vocational qualification to become a professional sport trainer.
She has been riding clients' horses as well as her own from novice to FEI level. Minna has experience breaking in youngsters and schooling them to Intermediaire I level. She helped Stegars school her GP-stars on a daily basis and students with their ponies, such as Swedish team ponies HB Dancing Daylight and Bento D.
When Stegars relocated to Contern Dressage Center, Uronen took the next step and moved to Gestüt Pallerhaff, a private dressage stable owned by Trakehner horse breeders Cynthia and Jens Thorsen. Under the supervision of successful young horse rider and Luxembourg A-squad rider Kristine Möller, she got the opportunity to train and compete Thorsens' talented
youngsters, including DSP Sonnerie Souveraine and DSP Big Bang. She successfully showed at German national level and at the Luxembourg Championships.
Return to Finland
At the end of 2021 Uronen moved back to her motherland to work as a rider and trainer at the equestrian college "Harjun Oppimiskeskus," while simultaneously furthering riding teacher studies.
Aboard her own and Reitstall Feelenerhecken's 8-year old Irish warmblood gelding Sparkleizer she showed in the Finnish Young Horse classes
