The Austrian warmblood society held its first of two team selection trials for the 2024 World Championships for young dressage horses in September 2024.
A total of 14 riders and their AWÖ bred and registered horses travelled to Stadl Paura on 21 - 22 May 2024 for the first training and selection trial, where German Dr. Ulf Möller served as advisor.
Horses aged four to seven were presented. The World Championships are held in the 5, 6 and 7-year old age category, while a "challenge" competition for 4-year olds is also run in Ermelo.
The second selection trial will take place in Oisnitz on 16 - 17 July 2024 after which the Austrian team will be announced.
