The Danish equestrian federation has announced the teams that will compete in the FEI Nations Cup at the 2024 CDIO Rotterdam and the team competition at the 2024 CDIO Aachen.
Team captain Anne-Mette Binder and "expert trainer" Wolfram Wittig made their selection following results achieved this spring season and at the Danish Championships last weekend.
Both the Danish championships, a set of CDI's and Rotterdam/Aachen serve as Danish Olympic team observation trial.
The Danish team for the CDIO Rotterdam on 20 - 22 June includes:
- Daniel Bachmann Andersen - Vayron
- Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour - Mount St. John Freestyle
- Carina Cassøe Krüth - Heilines Danciera
- Nanna Skodborg Merrald - Blue Hors Don Olymbrio
The Danish team for the CDIO Aachen on 4 - 7 July includes:
- Anna Zibrandtsen - Quel Filou
- Lone Bang Zindorff - Thranegaardens Rostov
- Nadja Aaboe Sloth - Favour Gersdorf
- Nanna Skodborg Merrald - Blue Hors St. Schufro
Nanna Skodborg Merrald will be competing her number one, Blue Hors Zepter, at the CDI Hagen on 6 - 7 June 2024 where he will have to prove form and fitness after a period of injury.
