The 5-year old Silent Wings, the 6-year old Infantino and the 7-year old Viotti were the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the national show at Hof Bettenrode on 12 July 2024.
Out of 18 participating 5-year olds only the top two scored the minimum criterium to qualify for Warendorf (8.0 or higher). The winner of the class was Sina Aringer aboard Cord Gaus' Hanoverian gelding Silent Wings (by Secret x Sandro Hit) with 8.04 points. The black gelding got 8.2 for walk, 7.8 for trot, 8.4 for canter, 7.8 for submission and 8 for general impression. Aringer only recently returned to competition after having delivered her first baby, daughter Lotta, on 19 March 2024. Austrian born German Saskia Lieben-Seutter placed second on Maik Kanitzky's Westfalian gelding Valenciano (by Vitalis x Conello) with 8.0.
In the 6-year old class there were 11 pairs present and four got the ticket to Warendorf. The winner was Kira Wulferding aboard Friederike Rehkamp's Oldenburg stallion Infantino (by Ibiza x Sandro Hit) with 8.24 points. The stallion got 8.5 for walk, 8.7 for trot, 8.2 for canter, 7.3 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. They edged out Anne Kock on her own Hanoverian gelding Valentina Garavani (by Vitalis x Spörcken) with 8.1 points.
In the 7-year old division there were ten pairs and Philipp Hess dominated the field aboard Kerstin Klose's Hanoverian stallion Voitti (by Vivaldi x Donnerhall) on 72.934%. He had Austrian Manuel Springhetti on his heels with Michael Schmitz' Indianapolis (by Indian Rock x Fidertanz) on 72.431%.
