Great Britain
The British horses and riders have been selected to represent Great Britain for the 2024 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Ermelo, the Netherlands, 4 - 8 September 2024.
This year Britain is only fielding three horses, even though it has slots for six! Britain is eligible to send two horses per age division but will only be fielding one 5-year old, two 6-year olds, and no 7-year olds.
Selected for Great Britain are:
5-year olds
- Fiona Bigwood on her own Newton Sylvanite (black gelding, 2019, Torveslettens Sylvester x Don Schufro, OLD), bred by Newton Stud.
6-year olds
- Dannie Morgan on her own Fever Tree (bay gelding, 2018, Foundation x Dayano, AES), bred by David Stone
- Jody Haswell on her own Valentinio (bay gelding, 2018, Feinrich x Vivaldi, OLD), bre dby Paul Schockemöhle
The reserve is Beth Bainbridge on Lauren Taylor's Oldenburg gelding Elton (by Emilio x Diamond Hit)
