Excellent Dressage Sales
Ultra Violette (by Krack C x Ferguson)

On Saturday 24 August, Excellent Dressage Sales will auction 49 interesting dressage foals online. The stallions Glock's Toto Jr., Hermès N.O.P. and Indian Rock who competed successfully at the Olympic Games in Paris, are well represented in the collection. Dream Boy, the Tokyo Olympian, is also a regular feature in the foals' pedigree.

The young talents One Million and Extreme U.S. are the top suppliers of the collection with seven and five foals. That, in combination with good mares and the best dressage damlines in the Netherlands, creates a collection that everyone looks forward to.

The foals will be presented live on Saturday 24 August at 3PM at Academy Bartels in Hooge Mierde. The online auction starts at 6.30PM.

Interesting Mix of Sires

The EDS collection for the online-auction on Saturday 24 August is filled with Olympic genes. The chic filly Ukkie II (s.Next Romancier) is bred out of the full sister of Hermès N.O.P., the number 4 in Paris. Union Jack (s.Osaka) also comes from the same well-known damline of the Gijsbers family from Loosbroek.

Ulla Donja (by One Million x Total US)
Indian Rock, who shone in the gardens of Versailles with Emmelie Scholtens, has a daughter in the auction who is bred out of the to-class damline of Cennin, Lantanas and Vitana V. A promise for sport and breeding. These are also the offspring of Glock's Toto Jr., who contributed to the Netherlands' fourth place in the Olympic Nations Cup with Hans Peter Minderhoud. Three foals are sired by the well-breeding Totilas son, two foals are bred out of a Toto jr-dam and three foals in the collection descend from his son O'Toto van de Wimphof.

From the direct family of the Swedish Olympic team horse Buriel KH comes Ulla Donja, who is also bred out of a daughter of Glock's Total U.S., the reserve for TeamNL in Paris. This is an exceptional pedigree.

Hans Peter Minderhoud competed in Tokyo with Dream Boy, who retired from sport this spring. Dream Boy proves his qualities in breeding in this EDS auction with two youngsters and several grandchildren.

Young sires

Ubbe (by Las Vegas x De Niro)
A special foal is Ultra Violette. This daughter of Krack C descends from a half-sister of his top son Vivaldi, making Ultra Violette a three-quarter sister of the top progenitor Vivaldi, who frequently appears in the pedigrees of this collection.

Of course through his son One Million who, with seven foals, is as top-supplier best represented in this collection. One Million is qualified for the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses and has already produced several inspection toppers. This is also the case for Extreme U.S., of which five foals have been selected and which will make their appearance in Hooge Mierde on August 24.

Las Vegas convinced in May with the title in the Small Tour at the Dutch Dressage Championships. His daughters from the first crop were also convincing at the inspections. The auction collection includes four foals by Las Vegas. One of the few born foals of performance-champion Pernod RS2 belongs to the collection.

Proven damlines

Unieke (by One Million x Ferguson)
The best dressage damlines of the Netherlands are represented in the auction. The richly decorated Daula-line has a foal in the auction, which is related to EHL Daula N.O.P. who is favourite for gold at the Paralympic Games in Paris next month. De Rijk-line produces a foal by One Million out of a National Mare Championships-mare. The renowned Endy line of the Van Helvoirt family has a foal in the auction out of the half-sister of the stallions Grenoble and Osaka. The tribe of Jazz is present. Johnson's Reina line has foals in Hooge Mierde. The Densie line, which produced a lot of sport and the stallion Blue Hors Monte Carlo, brings in a foal by Omar Sharif.

Out of the half-sister of Jovian, from the line of the Ten Bosch-family who also produced Pride, the interesting filly Unieke (s.One Million) is aptly named. And top mare Nannet should certainly not be missed with her offspring. Several foals from the collection trace back to this well-known Hurricane daughter.

And for those interested, there are also well-known mares that made a name for themselves in the sport and at the National Mare Championships. This makes the Excellent Dressage Sales collection on Saturday 24 August a very interesting one.
