Polish Horses Selected for the 2024 World Young Horse Championships

The Polish Equestrian Federation announced three athlete-and-horse combinations that will represent Poland at the 2024 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Ermelo, The Netherlands, from September 4-8, 2024.

The selection was carried out by the PZHK (Polish Association of Horse Breeders).

Three combinations will compete on Polish bred horses for Poland, one Polish horse (the Pawluk family's Bombastik PZHK (by Escolar x  Benetton Dream)) will show for Spain under Esteban Ruiz Fernando.

Riding for Poland are:

5-year olds

  • Mateusz Cichoń on Hanoverian stallion Ebano (by Escamillo x  Figrano), bred in Germany. 

6-year olds

  • Karola Mazurek on PZHK mare Fibrina (Believe In Me x  Le Duc), bred by Paweł Mazurek

7-year olds

  • Aleksandra Szulc on PZHK stallion Romeo von Fuerstenball (by Furstenball x  Bretton Woods), bred by Piotr Wiese.
