French Horses Selected for 2024 World Young Horse Championships

The French delegation for the 2024 World Championships for young dressage horses in Ermelo is known. 

The selection of the French horses is done by two separate federations. The 5 and 6-year olds are chosen by the "Société Hippique Française" (SHF), while the 7-year olds are picked by the French Equestrian Federation (FFE).

The SHF held a two-day team selection trial in Deauville, France, on 14 - 15 July 2024.

They are

5-year olds

  • Antoine Nowakowski - Sunny Boy (HANN, by Escolar x Sandro Hit
  • Camille Judet Cheret - Emoji JCD (HANN, by Blue Hors Emilio x Foundation)
    • Reserve:  Antoine Nowakowski - Daenerys (OLD, by Vitalis x Fidertanz)

6-year olds

  • Maxime Collard - Swarovski de Brevam (RHLD, by Secret x Rubin Royal)
  • Jessica Michel-Botton - Thor de Hus (HANN, by Toto jr x Don Juan de Hus)
  • Reserve: Charlotte Chalvignac-Vesin - Desiree Majishan (HANN, by Don Index x Don Vino)

The French Equestrian Federation selected two 7-year olds and made their final decision on the actual entry deadline date.

7-year olds

  • Charlotte Chalvignac-Vesin - French Kiss Kerlouaver (OLD, by Franklin x Royal Diamond)
  • Charlotte Chalvignac-Vesin - Fabajo (HANN, by Furst Belissaro x Wolkentanz)
    • reserve 1: Charlotte Chalvignac - Dempsey FBC  (HANN, by Don Juan de Hus x Contendro)
    • reserve 2: Charlotte Chalvignac - Fursty Majishan  (HANN, by Furstenball x St. Moritz)
