Good Demand and Moderate Prices at the 2024 Pferd Austria Online Foal Auction

There was a good demand and moderate prices were paid at the fifth Pferd Austria foal auction, which offered a collection of 22 Austrian bred jumping and dressage talents for sale.

“The response from home and abroad to the foals and the video and photo material was extremely positive in the run-up to the auction, although the number of hits on the auction website was lower than in previous years,” said sales manager Rudolf Krippl.

This was also reflected in the dressage lot on the day of the auction. The average price for the dressage foals sold was 7,250 euro. The jumping lot, offered for the first time, was in high demand, with an average price of 9,250 euro.

The highest bidding price was 10,250 euro for the Austrian Foal Champion, Salinero GD (by St. Emilion x Maracana). Broadmoars Louana (by St. Schufro x Eye Catcher) had a highest bid of 9,750 euro. He is bred by Günter Gasper.

9,500 euro was the price for filly Rose of Love EH (by Va Bene x Honore du Soir). This bay filly was a finalist at the Austrian foal Championships. The same price was offered for Broadmoars Velaris (by Vitalos x Totilas).

Romantika M (by Latinum x Divine Etincelle) fetched 9,000 euro.

The colt Flash Dancer (by Feliciano x Feedback) had a highest bid of 8,750 euro, while For Dancing (by For Romance x Quantensprung) had 7,750 euro as final price. Labell W (by Taurus x Sir Donnerhall) went for 7,500 euro.
