Valentine, Best Seller of the 2024 Riedlinger Foal Market

Valentine became the best seller of the 2024 Riedlinger Foal Market which was held for the 67th time.

A collection of 52 jumping and dressage bred foals was offered for auction.

85% of the foals offered for sale found a new owner. The majority will remain in Germany and only six sold abroad: four to Switzerland and two to Denmark. The average price for a foal was 9,417 euro. 

Three foals sold over 20,000 euro and 13 more over 10,000 euro.

Valentine (by Va Bene x Serafino) fetched the highest price, selling for 25,000 euro. She is bred by Reinhold Marschall.  The most expensive jumper foal was Andante (by Arezzo Man x Casall), who sold to Westfalia for 22,000 euro. 

The second most expensive dressage foal was Voulez-Vous (by Va Bene x De Niro), bred by Johannes Gaab. She fetched 21,000 euro. 

Zaubermeister (by Zauberlehrling x Vitalis) went for 13,000 euro. The same price was paid for Simsalabim (by Sebastino PS x Dancier). Feel Fine (by For Romance x Lord Leopold) sold for 11,500 euro. Fair Play (by Filox x Fair Game) went for 11,000 euro.

Bond Girl (by Bouwinghausen x Sir Nymphenburg), Feine Dame (by Feliciano x Dancier), and Glamour Girl (by Glamdale WP x Benetton Dream) sold for 10,000 euro.

Seven riding ponies were offered for sale.  The average price for a riding pony was 5,286 euro. The top seller was the grey Bagis Dreamer (by Daydreamer x Numero Uno) which found a new owner for 9,000 euro.
