Eleven out of 17 participating candidates passed the 2024 FEI Young Horse Judges course and exam held at the 2024 Polish Young Horse Championships on 11 - 13 October 2024.
The Championships and course took place at Cichon Dressage in Radzionkow, Poland.
The FEI course and exam was organized by IDOC in association with the Polish Equestrian Federation. The course was directed by 5* judges Raphael Saleh and Hans-Christian Matthiesen and part of the FEI Campus programme for the education of future judges.
The course brought theory and practise together. The first day was devoted to a theoretical introduction to young horse judging, including theory and practical judging using videos, followed by a two-day exam comprising shadow-judging, a written test and oral examination.
There were 17 official international participants and five national observers (not doing the exam). Candidates came from a wide variety of nations, such as Austria, Czechia, Germany, Japan, Kyrgyzstan, Norway, Serbia, South Africa, USA, France and Belgium participated.
The eleven that passed for the FEI Level 3 - Young Horse exam are:
