Viviano, Standout Best Seller in the 2024 DSP Riding Horse Auction in Marbach

The 4-year old stallion Viviano became the standout best seller of the 2024 DSP Riding Horse Auction held in Marbach on 26 October 2024.

A collection of 33 horses was auctioned of which the majority sold between 10,000 - 30,000 euro.

Viviano stood out as he went for 160,250 euro. The Vitalis x Dancier stallion, bred and owned by Grant McKerron, will move to a dressage stable from Sauerlach in Bavaria.

The second highest price was 75,000 euro, paid for the 7-year old Ben Benito (by Ben Benicio x Liberator). Bred by Anett Heinig, he is already performing at S-level. He will move to the Swabian Alps.

The third most expensive horse was in fact a pony, the 6-year old Mr Sandman (by FS Mr Right x Dornik B). He sold for 60,000 euro to Switzerland. 

Top Fun (by Topas x Foundation) went for 30,000 euro. The next in the price scale were two jumpers with Big Sunshine (by Big Star x Landprinz) going for 27,500 euro.

The average price for a horse in this auction was 25,736 euro, for a pony it was 17,350 euro. Both averages were boosted by the top selling horses.
