Vita di Lusso, Dinja van Liere's second best scoring Grand Prix ride, has been sold to Germany. The Hanoverian will continue his sport career under German Under 25 rider Selina Söder.

Vita di Lusso is a 9-year old Hanoverian gelding by Vitalis out of Walencia (by Weltano x Archipel).

Lemarc de Ymas

The bay gelding is bred by Javier Bacariza and Cristina Danguillecourt of Yeguada de Ymas in Spain. Their company Sandarca VinceS.L is the officially registered breeder's name.

Bacariza named the horse Lemarc de Ymas after the mysterious master thief from movie Oceans Twelve, Gaspar Lemarc.

In February 2018 he sold as a 3-year old to Alfonso Ramirez, who won silver with the 4-year old at the 2019 Spanish Young Horse Championships.

In November 2019 he sold to Dutch horse Eugene Reesink in The Netherlands. He was renamed Zlatan 5.

Initially the ride went to Beatrice Hoffrogge in Germany, who competed him twice in June 2020. In Langenfeld he scored 7.4 in the L-level dressage horse test and in Munster-Handorf they got a 7.8 total score. Hoffrogge also had Reesink's King's Pleasure in training at the time.

Vita di Lusso

After Hoffrogge, Dinja van Liere became in charge of his training and the horse was renamed a third time: Vita di Lusso.

She made her international debut on him at small tour level at the 2022 CDI Leeuwarden in October 2022, where they were fourth in the Prix St Georges and won the Inter I Freestyle. Two months later at the CDI-W Mechelen they won the Prix St Georges with 71.647%. She continued showing him at that level through 2023 with starts in Den Bosch and Aachen. They won the 2023 Dutch Small Tour Championship.

In 2024 Dinja premiered the gelding at Grand Prix level. Their CDI debut was in Den Bosch in March where they immediately bagged a double victory with 73.587% in the Grand Prix and 79.155% in the Kur. At the 2024 CDIO Compiegne, the bright bay was a bit impressed with his surroundings and 'dropped' to 69.609% but at the CDIO Aachen they posted personal best scores of 74.696% in the Grand Prix and ended up second in the Special with 76.872%. It was their last show as a pair.

Sold to Germany

Vita di Lusso has now been sold to Germany as a ride for German Under 25 rider Selina Söder.

Selina has been competing at international 25 level since 2022 aboard schoolmaster Zaire E (by Son de Niro x Jazz). In 2023 they won team gold at the European Under 25 Championships in Pilisjaszfalu (HUN) and placed fifth individually. In 2024 she debuted a new U25 horse, the 10-year old Westfalian gelding Grey Lamberto (by Grey Flanell x Renoir) at the CDI Stadl Paura.

The 24-year old Selina is a young dressage professional who runs her own stable together with life partner Raphael Netz.
