Van Olst Horses can look back on an extraordinary year in 2024 with successes in sport and breeding: Glamourdale won Olympic team and individual bronze at the Games in Paris, while flagship stallions Everdale, and Kentjo continued to impress in the competition ring and with their offspring.
These accolades are a testimony to the successful training and breeding programme Van Olst carries out at their stallion station in den Hout, The Netherlands.
Dressage lovers can ride this meticulously planned wave of success by purchasing a future star in the online auction of "The Young Ones 2024."
Bidding starts on 22 November 2024 at 12 PM and closes on 25 November 2024 at 8h25 PM.
The Young Ones
The collection includes 18 carefully selected young talents sired by Van Olst stallions and/or carefully reared and handled at the yard. There are five 2-year olds, twelve 3-year olds, and one 4-year old. They are green horses who are either not yet saddle broken, or only lightly trained, and show promise for the future.
The 3-year old Ramblas (by Lantanas x Glamourdale x Rubiquil) is a striking and impressive horse you should definitely look at. This gelding stands out with his model and with his three great gaits. As a son of Lantanas this is perhaps not surprising. Lantanas produces striking dressage horses time and time again!
The wonderful 3-year old chestnut mare Rosa Bella L (by Lantanas x Don Romantic x Neostan) scored 80 points for both her conformation and movement during the 2024 KWPN studbook inspection. She then showed at the central inspection of Noord-Brabant in De Mortel and was invited to the National Mare Championship in Ermelo. Rosa Bella L was described as: "A very well build mare that moves in a very functional way, with good balance, rhythm and use of the body." Rosa Bella L is ster, provisional keur, D-OC and she is WFFS free.
The 2.5-year old gelding Secret Glamour (by Glamourdale x George Clooney x Riverman) is an impressive dressage horse and moves remarkably well. He is bred from the George Clooney mare Lost Gem who is a half-sister of the small tour horse Just Me (by Everdale) and the big tour horse Begijnhoeve’s Emerald (by Wynton).
The complete collection is online with photos, videos, and their vetting report.
