Neverland, the 2022 Bundeschampion and internationally competed FEI pony, has moved to Sweden.
Neverland is an 8-year old Weser Ems stallion by FS Numero Uno out of Sophia (by Champus K x Dressman). He is bred by Reinhard Kramer.
Bundeschampion
Owned by pony horse dealer and trainer Danica Duen, the dark bay stallion was licensed at the Weser Ems pony stallion licensing in November 2018. He did a 1-day performance test scoring 8.2 and then achieved his lifetime licensed status through sport.
He was first competed by Duen in 2019 and at won bronze in the 3-year old stallion class at the Bundeschampionate. At 2020 Bundeschampionate he was retired in the 4-year old finals, but in 2021 daughter Sophie Duen rode him to bronze and in 2022 to gold.
Plaas and Von Helldorff
In 2023 Lotta Plaas took over the ride and competed the pony at national FEI pony level. She won the Westfalian regional championships.
This year Lilli von Helldorff competed the pony and made his international show debut with him. They did two CDI's: In Tolbert he won the Kur to Music and at the CDI-P Hagen he placed between 3rd and 15th.
Sweden
Neverland has now been sold to Swedish pony team rider Wilma Holmgren.
She has been a Swedish team member at the 2024 Nordic Baltic Championships and European Pony Championships aboard the 19-year old Casino Royale K. They won team bronze and finished 14th in the Kur Finals at the Euros in Opglabbeek (BEL). It was Wilma's third, consecutive European Championship.
