The 45th edition of the P.S.I Auction in Ankum (GER) on 7 December 2024 boasted two sales of over 1 million euro. Show jumpier Chaceana PS and dressage horse Vivendy put the fireworks in this highly celebrated auction of young sport horses.
The 45th P.S.I. Auction at the P.S.I. Sport and Auction Centre in Ankum was a complete success and once again set new standards in the international equestrian world. Riders, breeders and enthusiasts from all over the world gathered in Lower Saxony to take part in this prestigious event. A total of 50 top-class dressage and show jumping horses from Schockemöhle and Kasselmann were auctioned off, with several horses achieving top prices.
Chaceana PS (by Chaccoon Blue out on Conceana PS) changed hands for 1.4 million euro.
The elegant Vivendy (by Vivino x Fürst Jazz ) became the best selling dressage horse, selling for 1,260,000 euro over the phone. The mare is moving to a very renowned dressage stable in Schleswig-Holstein.
The impressive For Global (by Feinrich x Zonik) was the second most expensive dressage horse at €650,000 and is moving to new clients in Switzerland.
Saint Lavinia (by Vitalis x Sandro Hit) opened the auction and quickly attracted the attention and bids of dressage enthusiasts. One bid surpassed the other until auctioneer Hendrik Schulze Rückamp's hammer struck at 600,000 euro. She sold to Cayman Stables of Russian-Ukrainian owners. They also purchased Letasio (by Lennox x Top Gear) for 610,000 euro
The Meggle dressage stable from Bavaria secured Livarello (by Livaldon x Florencio) in an exciting bidding duel for 600,000 euros.
Santana (by San Amour x Totals) sold for 530,000 euro.
Two horses sold for 380,000 euro: Zonik Black (by Zonik x San Amour) and Venaria (by Vivino x Sarkozy). The latter moves to Greta Britain.
Die Ballerina (by Delatio x Dimaggio) fetched 370,000 euro, while Furst Rapallo (by Furstenball x Zonik) goes to Switzerland for 365,000 euro.
Americans bought Vitany (by Vitalis x Dolany) for 305,000 euro, while a client of American Grand Prix rider Jennifer Hoffmann bought Fynchago (by Fynch Hatton x Zhivago) for 240,000 euro. Hong Kong dressage rider Angie Qin secured Le Class (by Le Formidable x Welt Hit VI) for 300,000 euro.
Loyal customers from Taiwan bought Viper (by Vitalis x Sir Donnerhall) for 290,000 euro, Devarotti (by Delatio x Dimaggio) for 165,000 euro and Jean Jacques (by Jameson x Fidertanz) for 130,000 euro.
Vivace (by Vitalis x Fursten-Look) goes to Dubai for 230,000 euro, Fernand (by Foundation x Top Gear) goes to Qatar for 135,000 euro.
Zusador (by Zenon x Lauries Crusader xx) and Durand (by Donier x Dr Jackson) were purchased by the same German dressage horse investor. He paid 190,000 and 225,000 euro for them.
Fasandra (by Foundation x Hotline) and Benefis (by Borsalino x De Niro) sold to Judith Köppel of 360 Grad Sportpferde for 220,000 and 145,000 euro.
The auction realised total proceeds of 19,660,000 euro. The dressage horses were auctioned off for a total of 8,980,000 eurs with an average price of 359,200 euro, while the show jumpers achieved a total turnover of 10,680,000 euro with an average price of 427,200 euro.
