Polish pony rider Pola Guerquin-koryzma said goodbye to her team pony Milky Way PP and her time on ponies as she aged out of the division. Milky Way will continue his sport career in Austria.

Milky Way PP is a 10-year old German Riding Pony by FS Mr Right out of Decima PP (by Gershwin B x Dornik B). He is bred in Poland by Monika Piatkowska.

Polish Team Pony

The striking chestnut with blaze made its international show debut under Pola Guerquin-Koryzma at the CDI Zakrzow in April 2022, finishing third in all three rounds. After starts in Pilisjaszfalu and Brno, the pair represented Poland at the 2022 European Pony Championships in Strzegom (POL), where they were 18th in the Kur finals.

With only one CDI start in the spring of 2023 (Olomouc) they were back on the team for the 2023 European Championships in Le Mans and placed 28th in the individual test.

In 2024 the pair went full throttle. They competed at CDI's in Wroclaw, Gociszow, Olomouc, and Hagen, winning 8 out of 12 international starts. At their third consecutive European Pony Championships, they were 16th in the Kur to Music. They won the 2024 Polish Pony Championships.

Austria

Milky Way PP has been sold to Edith Grundmann in Austria for her daughter Luisa to ride. Laura Quint brokered the sale.

The 14-year old Luisa has been competing internationally in the Children division in 2024 aboard the 8-year old Westfalian Dominici (by Dimitroff x Totilas), owned by fellow Austrian youth rider Hannah-Katharina Dearing Schumuch.
