British Combinations Long-Listed for the 2025 European Youth Championships

British Dressage has announced the combinations that have been long-listed for team consideration for the 2025 European Youth Championships this summer.

Following results and progress throughout the winter season, the British Dressage U21 Selectors  released their long lists of riders.

The European Children, Pony, and Junior Championships take place in Le Mans (FRA) 28 July - 3 August, while the European Young Riders and Under 25 Championships take place in Kronberg (GER) on 10 - 13 July.

Long-listed are:

Children

  • Hugo Hamblin-Brown  with Jody Haswell's Ricciolan (bay gelding, 2011, Riccidoff, HANN).
  • Melissa Hargreaves   with her own Lagerfeld W (bay gelding, 2016, Daily Diamond x Albaran, KWPN).
  • Ever Sinfield-Day  with her own Ola Jupiter (black gelding, 2014, Tino x Forcado, POR)
  • Lily Waller McSweeney  with Jacquie Walker's Willinga Park Sky Diamond (bay gelding, 2010, Sir Donnerhall x Don Schufro, HANN).

Pony Riders

  • Ella Fraser  with her own and Rebecca Fraser’s Brouwershaven’s Viceroy (bay gelding, 2009, Jurjen H x Speyksbosch Nelson).
  • Mimi Kempster   with Rachael Sinden-Kempster’s Che Bello (bay gelding, 2010, FS Champion de Lux x Dressman I).
  • Darcey Blaze Marcus with Heidi Marcus’ Tackmann’s Dark Deluxe (dun gelding, 2015, D-Day AT x Dornik B) and Heidi Marcus' Ella (grey mare, 2009, Caesar 171).
  • Queenie Moule  with her own and Louise Moule's Amden Supreme Golden Dancer (palomino gelding, 2016, Dating AT x Scampi, DRP).
  • Molly Powell  with Katie Powell's Mr Diego (buckskin gelding, 2011, The Braes My Mobility x Sorento, DRP).
  • Rose Punchard   with her own Spot Awole (bay gelding, 2003, No Limit).

  • Abigail Gray   with Fenella Quinn's Empire B (black gelding, 2009, Sting x OO Seven, KWPN).
