Solid Rock (by McLaren x Tuschinski x Rousseau)

Solid Rock, a newly licensed 3-year old KWPN stallion by McLaren x Tuschinski, has been partly sold to American investor David Wilson.

The colt will remain in The Netherlands for the start of his breeding and competition career.

Solid Rock

The dark bay Solid Rock is bred by E. Reemst and was originally named Sirendo KH. He is by McLaren out of a Tuschinski x Rousseau x Inspekteur dam.

At the 2025 KWPN Stallion Licensing in 's Hertogenbosch in February, Solid Rock was presented by the owners' quartet Diederik van Silfhout, G. Rensink, Paul Jansen, and R. Prinsen.

The popular Oldenburg sire McLaren (by Morricone x Sir Donnerhall) had four sons selected for Den Bosch and all four were licensed, including Solid Rock.

American-Dutch Venture

At the 2025 KWPN Stallion Licensing
American dressage horse investor David Wilson of W-Farms has now purchased a half-ownership share and together with Diederik van Silfhout will manage the future of this young stallion.

Belgian horse dealer and Grand Prix rider Nico Nyssen brokered the sale of Solid Rock together with Caroline Roffman.

David Wilson and his wife Alisa have been involved in the dressage world for more than 30 years as riders and trainers. Recently David expanded his business into the sales market with the launching of W Sales International.

Career Kick-Off

Solid Rock
It has been decided for Solid Rock to remain in The Netherlands at the start of his career.  In order to be fully licensed for KWPN, Solid Rock will have to do the performance test in Ermelo in the autumn.

The young colt has moved into training with Dutch young horse rider Gerrel Vink who will manage his book of coverings this year as well as prepare him for the performance test.
