
The 18-year old versatile Trakehner licensed stallion Zauberdeyk has moved to Denmark.
Zauberdeyk is a 2007 born Trakehner by Van Deyk out of Zauberlied II (by Friedensfurst x Maerchenprinz). He is bred by Simone Bell
Licensed
The chestnut was licensed in 2009 at the Trakehner Licensing in Neumunster and later on approved for Holsteiner and Rhineland.
He did his 30-day suitability test in Schlieckau in the early winter of 2010. He scored 8,18 in dressage and 7,96 in show jumping. He achieved his full licensed status through sport in 2017 in Sweden.
He has sired two licensed sons (Berlioz, Haffruf) and six state premium daughters.
Versatile Career
Zauberdeyk's sport career began in Germany in 2011 under Kim Arjes and she showed him lightly through May 2013. She rode him in the Bundeschampionte qualifiers but did not make it to Warendorf, even though Dorothee Schneider briefly tried.
Owned by Swedish Monica Lindstedt, Zauberdeyk had an international career in eventing from 2015 till 2018, competing at CCI 1* and 2* level with Johan Lundin and Evelina Carlsson.
Zauberdeyk returned to Germany in 2019 and moved to Beate Langels' Gestüt Hämelschenburg. The ride was allocated to Lune Karolin Müller, who debuted him at M-level in September 2019. In 2021 she showed him small tour level and in 2023 and 2024 she tackled the medium and big tour classes. Their last show as a pair was in February 2024.
Denmark
The 18-year old Zauberdeyk has now moved to Denmark in the care of the Hoeck family.
Anders Sjobeck Hoeck made his show debut on Zauberdeyk in the Intermediaire II in January 2025 and scored 70.526% for the win. On 28 March 2025 he competed him to place second with 68.860%.
