Voulez-Vous, Best Seller of the 2025 Hanoverian April Auction

The 4-year old Voulez-Vous became the best selling horse in the collection of the 2025 Hanoverian April Auction held on 12 April 2025. 

A collection of 72 horses and foals was offered for sale.

Sport Horses

Voulez-Vous (by V-Plus x Fursten-Look) sold for the highest hammer price of the day: 79,000 euro. A German client frol Bavaria got the horse, which is bred by Michael Schenk.

The second most expensive horse was the 5-year old chestnut mare Viola Diamont (by Valdiviani x Borsalino), who sold for 74,000 euro. The same price was paid for the 4-year old gelding Völler (by V-Plus x Rubin Royal). He moves to Colombia.

Mare Felicita (by Fusionist x Furst Belissaro) sold for 50,000 euro. Victoria Swarovski (by Valdiviani x Quotenkönig) went for 37,000 euro.

Völler
Swedes bought Mocambo (by Morricone x Furst Nymphenburg) for 31,000 euro and Donito (by D'Olympus x Bugatti Hilltop) for 15,500 euro.

Vico C (by Vivaldos x Damsey) goes to France for 24,000 euro.

A Latvian bought Denver (by Donier x Florenz) for 18,500 euro, while Secret Lady (by Secret x Dr Watson) moves to Spain for 13,500 euro, just like Zarino (by Zack x De Niro) for 13,000 euro. A Brit secured the Trakehner bred 4-year old Klassic's Kalea (by Kronberg x Freudenfest) for 9,500 euro. Vienna Dream (by Vasari x Carabas) goes to Austria for 8,500 euro.

Fifty-five riding horses changed hands for 23,309 euro on average.

Foals

The first foals of the Verden auction year were auctioned by auctioneer Bernd Hickert. The best seller was jumping filly Megadoria for Fun (by Meganus PS x Cador) which sold for 13,000 euro.

Verani P
The most expensive dressage foal was Verani P (by Verbier x Don Romanov), which sold for 12,500 euro to Hof Schulze-Averdiek. Two foals sold for 9,000 euro: Tango Amore (by Tarantino x Dancier) and Black Jack (by Barbarossa x Secret).

A French bidder got the foal Bon Scott (by Bon Succes x Dr. Watson) for 5,000 euro, while Francellico (by Furst Zonik x Dante Weltino) goes to Spain for 4,500 euro.

Seventeen foals were on offer, 16 were auctioned and they achieved an average price of 7,875 euro.
