The FEI Board has allocated the 2027 World Cup Finals to the city of Gothenburg in Sweden. The decision was taken by the FEI Board at its monthly teleconference on 6 May.

Gothenburg will be staging a multi-discipline World Cup Finals as show jumping, dressage and vaulting will take place under the same roof.

The Gothenburg Horse Show, first held in 1977, has deep connections with the most prestigious FEI indoors series. Gothenburg played host to the first FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final in 1979 as well as the inaugural FEI Dressage World Cup™ Final 10 years later in 1989.

“The allocation of major FEI Finals and Championships for 2027 and 2028 is very good news and demonstrates a healthy interest in hosting major FEI events,” FEI President Ingmar De Vos said. “We are very happy to return to a historical venue such as Gothenburg, which has hosted the FEI World Cup Finals in Jumping and Dressage on multiple occasions and has a proven record of excellence at the Scandinavium Arena. In 2027 the Gothenburg Horse Show will be celebrating its 50th anniversary and it will be a memorable occasion since an FEI Vaulting World Cup Final will be organised in Sweden for the first time."
