The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) has announced the combinations that will represent the U.S.A. for the North American Under 25 Championships as part of the North American Youth Championships (NAYC).
The 2025 NAYC are hosted at Flintfields Horse Park in Williamsburg (Traverse City), Mich., from July 29-August 3, 2025.
The athletes will be accompanied by George Williams, USEF Senior Grand Prix team captain and Youth Coach, as well as Olivia LaGoy-Weltz, USEF Assistant Pathway Coach.
The Under 25 division became part of the NAYC in 2023. As this year Canada is only fielding two individuals, in principle there is no team competition for this leg but an exemption can be requested to form teams of two.
The USA is fielding five individuals:
- Alicia Berger (Wellington, Fla.) & Aqua Marin, her own 2011 Oldenburg gelding (by Ampere x Stedinger)
- Ella Fruchterman (Woodbury, Minn.) & Hannah Montana W, a 2009 Danish Warmblood mare (by Blue Hors Doolittle x Sidney) owned by Todd Fruchterman
- Sophia Schults (Ocala, Fla.) & Conocido HGF, her own 2012 PRE gelding (Cosaco XI x Idilio II)
- Haley Smith (San Diego, Calif.) & Great Lady TC, a 2011 KWPN mare (Bretton Woods x Osmium owned by Carolyn Bland
- Paige Wolfe (Palmyra, Penn.) & Tavajo Elton, a 2013 Danish Warmblood gelding (Taylormade Temptation x Don Lauredo) owned by Monica Kremer
