Austria
The Austrian Equestrian Federation has announced the names of the horses that will represent Austria at the 2025 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses.
The 2025 edition of the WCYH will return to Verden (GER) and will be held on 6 - 10 August 2025.
The Austrian warmblood society held two observation trials where Dr. Ulf Möller trained and assessed the candidate combinations. Eleven horses in total participated.
Based on the size of its studbook, Austria is eligible to send one combination per age category.
The Austrian horses are:
5-year olds
- Evita (by Escamillo x Morricone) - Martina Suppan-Knill
- reserve: El Camino FH (by Escamillo x Foundation) - Julia Binder
6-year olds
- Stellas Highlight MFG (by Fürst Wilhelm x Rubin Royal) - Kathrin Brugger
- reserve: Nassera MB (by Zenon VDL x Fairbanks) - Kerstin Kronaus
7-year olds
- Indigo ANW (by Ibiza x Dr. Doolittle) - Marcus Hermes
- reserve: Finest Edition GMS (by Finest Selection x Weltmeyer) - Nicole Berghofer
