Van Olst Horses is proud to launch its first online foal auction of 2025, featuring a collection of 23 foals including offspring by the brand new World Young Horse Championship bronze medal winner Ilegro.
Bidding starts on 15 August at 12h00 and closes on 19 August at 20h35.
Ilegro, Glamourdale, Pjethro
The collection of carefully selected fillies and colts represent the best of Van Olst's breeding programme through its own mares and via a network of breeders. The foals are all sired by Van Olst stallions, including World Champions Glamourdale and Kjento, medal winner Ilegro, small tour stallions Nalegro and Nacho, young stars O'Frederic, Pjethro, Secret Lover, Powerdale, and Real Dream, as well as y proven producer Lantanas.
The collection is opened by catalog nr 1, Vesuvius (by Ilegro x Valverde x El Capone). The chestnut colt is by Ilegro out of Orange Princess, who did a successful IBOP test and was declared elite. Her dam line produced Grand Prix dressage horse Just Royal Dancer.
The black colt Carat Noir from 't Huka (by Secret Lover x Jameson x Sandro Hit) is an absolute eye-catcher. This BWP registered colt is from the direct dam line of the KWPN stallions UB 40 and Davino VOD.
The black filly Victoria VP (by Pkethor x Just Wimphof x Krack C) is from Pjethro's first crop of foals. Pjethro finished second in the 2025 Pavo Cup Finals at the start of August. Victoria's dam Nevarra is a daughter of the KWPN Mare Champion Terlia, who herself competed at Z2 level dressage.
