Manuel Springhetti's developing Grand Prix ride Don Machiavelli has been sold to the U.S.A.
Don Machiavelli is a 10-year old Hanoverian by Don Nobless out of Shane (by Sandro Hit x Rubinstein). He is bred by Ulrich Heitmann.
He was licensed at the 2017 Hanoverian Stallion Licensing in Verden, where he sold for 32,000 euro. He did not do a performance test.
Sport Career
Don Machiavelli was first competed in September 2018 by Carla Schrader.
Owned by Felix-Ferdinand Becker, he was shown by his mum Esther Maruhn in the summer of 2019, but in 2020 it was Birte Senftleben-Flemming onboard while Maruhn showed him again at M-level in 2021. A three year break from competition followed.
In 2024 Don Machiavelli returned to the scene under Austrian Manuel Springhetti at small tour level. This year he campaigned the horse in the Louisdor cup qualifiers for developing Grand Prix horses, scoring 69,915% in Hamburg and 69.298% in Wiesbaden, and placing fourth twice. The latter was their last show.
Sold to the U.S.A.
Don Machiavelli has been sold to Heidi Humphries' Zen Elite equestrian as a new Grand Prix hopeful for Adrienne Lyle.
"We are very excited to have this special new talent in our family," Humphries told Eurodressage
