Furstin Vitalia, Most Expensive at 2025 DSP One-Day Foal Auction in Rohr

Furstin Vitalia became the most expensive foal at the 2025 DSP One Day Foal Auction held in Rohr, Germany, on 27 September 2025. 

A collection of 48 foals was on offer with jumping and dressage bloodlines. 

The filly Furstin Vitalia (by Furst Zonik PS x Vitalis), bred by Karl Häring, sold for 26,000 euro to a Czech bidder. 

Colt Donkey Amour (by Hesselhoj Donkey Boy x Vitalis) was the reserve champion foal at the Bavarian Elite Mare Show and now sold for 20,000 euro

Twelve foals fetched a price of 10,000 euro or more. Five foals sold abroad.

The third best seller was Eternal Flame (by Escanto PS x Abke) which found a new owner for 16,000 euro. Viva Amour (by Viva Gold x Ampere) went for 15,000 euro.

Braveheart ( (by Bon Courage x Veneziano) sold for 13,000 euro, First Hit (by First Magic x Sandro Hit) for 12,000 euro, San Sebastian GE (by Sebastino PS x Sandro Hit) for 11,500 euro, Ehrenmann (by Etienne x Lord Leatherdale) and Viva Remo (by Viva Gold x San Remo) both for 11,000 euro, and Proud of Me (by Proud James x Morricone) went for 10,500 euro.

The most expensive jumper was Abakadabra (by Arezzo Man x Araconit) which sold for 14,000 euro. Quasi Touch (by Quasi Dream x United Touch S) switched owners for 12,000 euro.

Austrians bought Frieda Gold (by Fürst Samarant x Don Schufro) for 6,500 € and Time to dream (by Tie Break x  Vitalis) for 7,000 €

Dutch bidders secured Éclair Romance BG (by Element of Crime x For Romance ) for 5,200 euro and Vitus (by V-Power x Destano) for 5,000 euro. 

The average price was 8,244 euro. Eleven foals out of 48 did not fetch a price over 5,000 euro.
