Jayden Brown became the winner of the 2025 Australian Grand Prix Championship held at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre on 16 - 19 October 2025.
The CDI-W results of the Grand Prix and Kur to Music were added up to determine the champion.
Brown to the Forefront
Even though dark clouds still lingered over the Championships due to the dispute of last year's title, the field was wide open for Olympian Jayden Brown to wield the axe of power.
Aboard Terry Snow heirs' 11-year old Hanoverian Quincy B (Quaterback x Desperados) he won the Grand Prix CDI-W with 70.022% and the Kur to Music with 74.135%, twice besting himself on his second Grand Prix ride, Alinta Veenvliet's 14-year old Hanoverian D'Esperanza (by Desperados x Sandro Hit), previously shown by Roberta McKinnon
The third ranked pair in the Grand Prix Championship was Jodie Dunstan aboard the 15-year old Hollands Bend Highlander (by His Highness x Sunny Boy) with a fourth place in the Grand Prix (64.022%) and a third in the Kur (68.490%).
More Title Winners
The biggest FEI level class of the weekend was the small tour championship with 33 competitors. The Prix St Georges and Intermediaire I counted towards the final ranking and Katina Smith won aboard BC Chilli Pepper (by Charmeur x Wolkentanz) ahead of Lisa Janke on Bloomfield Dankeschoen OLD (by Desperados).
At medium tour level Matthew Lord topped the overall ranking with the Inter A and B counting. He claimed the title aboard Remi Vigneron (by Viscount) ahead of David McKinnon on Holland Bends Rococo (by Royal Classic x Vasall).
