Alexander Harrison-West's up and coming Grand Prix ride, Mount St John Diamonds are Forever, has been sold to Malaysia and will move to Denmark.

Mount St John Diamonds are Forever is a 9-year old Hanoverian by Diamont Hit out of Rheinita (by Royal Classic x Bolero). She is bred by Andre Obermeyer.

Amy Woodhead and Alexander Harrison

Secured by Emma Blundell of Mount St. John directly from the breeder as a foal, Diamonds are Forever has not yet competed internationally but has had a successful career at national level in Great Britain so far, marking her an exciting Grand Prix horse for the future.

Diamonds was first competed by Amy Woodhead, debuting in August 2020. In her second show in October she won the British Young Horse Championships for 4-year olds.  A year later the pair returned to the Nationals in 2021 to finish fourth in the Championships for 5-year olds. Woodhead continued to train and compete the mare until the spring of 2022.

In the summer of 2022 the ride was handed over to British Under 25 team rider Alexander Harrison-West during Amy Woodhead's maternity leave.  Alex premiered the chestnut mare in Hartpury in July 2022 in the 6-year old classes. They won the 2023 British Winter Regionals at Medium level.

The mare returned to the arena in July 2024 at Prix St Georges level. She was shown five times at small tour level until the spring of 2025 and won four out of five classes including the 2025 British Winter Championships.  In July 2025 she stepped up to Grand Prix level at Mount Ballen to win her test (69.67%). The pair's last competition was at Chard Equestrian in October, posting 72.61% for another Grand Prix win.

Sold to Malaysia

Diamonds are Forever has now been sold to Malaysian Pey Ing "Jenny" Khor and will be competed by Danish Dennis Fisker.

Blundell, bred one 2022 born ET filly by Total Diamond out of this mare, is thrilled for her mare to continue her sport career under Fisker's management.  "I'm very excited after seeing Dennis ride her; to see what the future holds for them both," Emma told Eurodressage. "She's a totally uncomplicated traveller and to manage everyday in the stable, which alongside her natural paces & trainability, is what I believe every rider and groom wants from the amateur to the top professional so the horse doesn’t change from what you get at home or loose any of their potential to external stresses."

Emma continued, "as a breeder this is a key part of what we focus on in our breeding: trying to create horses in every way that are fit for their purpose and want to work, rather than just the flashiest mover as a youngster, which sadly is what a lot of the foal and stallion market inevitably creates."

Khor has a strong collection of horses in Denmark, including former licensed stallion Fredendsdal Fountain and  5-year old Birkelys Diego (by Hesselhoj Donkey Boy x Sam Sam), which Fisker rode at the 2024 Danish Young Horse Championships.

"I am super happy to have such a high quality horse in the stable and I am looking forward to the journey with her," Fisker stated. "She is only nine years old and has already shown a high level in Grand Prix, so it will be super exciting to work with her. I am looking forward to getting out on the competition tracks again. I would like to thank Jenny for a fantastic collaboration and Emma Emma for the super professional process of buying her."
